I am really looking forward to the opening of David Mwaniki’s exhibition tomorrow (Thursday 24th) at Kuona Trust at 6:00 p.m. Do plan to be there. He’s created work about items children used to make for play 20 or 30 years ago…maybe more. It’s coolest because it’s accurate and wakes up all sorts of nostalgia for a childhood (yes I have had a sneak peek). So do come. I am curious to see if it makes us adults just a wee bit more playful! And if you have children, definately bring them along!
A note to all in attendance: I’d suggest you bring your chequebook because it is likely you will feel a deep pull to purchase part of this exhibition! My thoughts.
